Brexit: A Time for Balance, Clear Thinking and Getting on with it

At last; an article that has managed to step over the result (the past) and started to grapple with needing to look forward, take a balanced view and look to make the UK into a more directly accountable, progressive economic success and a great, welcoming place to live.

Isaac Tabner, a senior lecturer in finance at the University of Stirling, has made a real attempt to show a positive side to the current situation in the fallout from the Brexit referendum result (52:48 in favour of leaving the EU on a 72% turnout). He is to be congratulated on setting an example of the kind of attitude that all those involved (and that is millions of people) will need to adopt in making the most of this new opportunity.

The picture shown here reminds everyone in the UK (and elsewhere) that an international outlook requires global thinking – not just playing in your own back yard. Even if it is quite a bright one!
